I traveled to Operation Gratitude's Base, Northridge to donate 1,200 paracord lanyards. Paracords as described in detail in the video below, can hold up to 550 pounds of weight, and are used in a variety of emergencies for service members. Paracords can be used as climbed up cliffs, carry items, and even used in emergency surgeries.
