WHO ARE THE TEACHERS?
The teachers are the Flintridge Preparatory School Poetry Club members. The people who will be leading this club are 8th graders from the private school, I, Ellie Sohn goes to. I am a poet who is planning to release a booklet of poetry and consistently attends poetry slams. The other members of the club are students who also enjoy poetry.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE CLUB?
This is our most direct club. What we do is not a tutoring on how to write poetry. The poetry club is somewhere where students can come interact with older students and write poetry. We write poetry for a short period of time, read it out for others, and do games with poetry. This is for students who are willing to interact with other people and must be a group discussion. All the other clubs have a form of tutoring, and one-on-one sessions.
WHEN AND HOW MUCH IS THE CLUB?
This club is on every Friday at 2:35 pm and is strictly no fee. The time slot is only Friday at 2:35 and is non-negotiable.
